CRS works directly with your company’s travel agencies and all of the airlines' computerized reservation systems to provide you with an INDEPENDENT, THIRD-PARTY travel-audit service. Each day, CRS electronically accesses all of the passenger name records (PNRs) that were booked for your company. Each reservation is reviewed with the following objectives:
- Ensure the airfare booked is the lowest fare available at the time of booking and ticketing of that itinerary.
- Identify all air travel reservations that may be altered to comply with your company’s travel policy to further reduce travel costs.
- Identify any hotel reservation that was not booked using the company—or agency—preferred hotel programs.
- Identify all preferred hotel reservations that were not booked at the company—or agency—negotiated rate.
- Correct the out-of-policy reservations, with the approval of the traveler, to further reduce costs.
In addition, CRS can provide access to all travel data through a secure website. Online reports are available 24/7 from virtually anywhere in the world. Your travel data is loaded the day the reservation is booked, making pre-trip travel management a reality.
